Quick Start

Follow this step-by-step guide to set up Polyscout and begin trading Up or Down on Polymarket.

Step 1: Start the Bot

Open Polyscout in Telegram and tap /start to begin the setup.

You will first be asked to review and accept the terms and conditions. Once accepted, the bot will automatically create your trading wallet and complete the initial setup in the background.

No manual configuration is required at this stage.

Step 2: Create Your Wallet

Polyscout automatically creates a trading wallet for you on Polygon, which is the network Polymarket uses to power its prediction markets.

Polymarket executes trades through a Safe Wallet, which is a smart contract controlled wallet. During setup, Polyscout creates a Safe Wallet that is linked to your Owner Wallet on Polygon. This Safe Wallet is what actually places trades on Polymarket.

All of this happens behind the scenes. You do not need to manage any of the wallet logic yourself. The only thing you need to know is that a Safe Wallet exists and is tied to your owner wallet.

If you prefer to use your own wallet, you can import it at any time by using the /dashboard command. From there, select Import Wallet and provide your 64 hex private key.

Your private key can also be used to import the wallet into any standard wallet application such as Phantom. Importing your wallet into Phantom allows you to view balances, track transactions, and connect directly to the Polymarket web interface to review trade history and PnL.

Always keep your private key secure and never share it with anyone. The private key is the only thing required to control the wallet, sign transactions, and move funds. If someone gains access to it, they can take full control of your wallet and transfer assets without your approval. Store it offline in a secure place and treat it the same way you would treat cash or credentials to a financial account.

Step 3: Fund Your Wallet

Your trading wallet lives on Polygon, so it must be funded with USDCe, which is the stablecoin Polymarket uses for all trades.

The easiest way to fund your wallet is:

  1. Send POL to your owner wallet

  2. Swap POL for USDCe

  3. Send USDCe to your Safe Wallet address

Phantom makes this process simple and is our recommended wallet for getting set up.

Once the transfer is complete, funds typically arrive in under 30 seconds. You can return to the dashboard and continue exploring while the transaction confirms.

USDCe token address: 0x2791Bca1f2de4661ED88A30C99A7a9449Aa84174. This address provided for convenience to help you identify the correct USDCe token on Polygon when funding your Safe Wallet. Polymarket only supports USDCe for trading, so it is important to confirm you are sending the correct token. Sending a different version of USDC or a token from another network may result in funds not being usable for trading. Always double check the token address before transferring funds to ensure your wallet is funded correctly and ready to trade.

Step 4: Referral Program

Once your wallet is ready, Polyscout generates a personal referral link tied to your Telegram account.

Share this link with friends and earn 50% of all trading fees generated from their winning trades. Referral rewards accumulate automatically and can be withdrawn at any time to a wallet address of your choice.

Step 5: Create a Strategy

Type /strategies and follow the prompts:

  • Click Add Strategy to access the Strategy Builder

  • Select your coin (BTC, ETH, SOL, or XRP)

  • Choose your timeframe (15m, 1h, 4h, or 24h)

  • Pick your trade amount with a minimum of $1USD

  • Set your Trigger Conditions and Schedule

  • Set your desired Stop Loss

Once confirmed, Polyscout begins executing your strategy automatically.

Step 6: View Stats

Use these commands to monitor performance, manage wallets, and access your full trading setup:

  • View your performance snapshot, including PnL, open positions, and recent trades using /stats

  • View balances and switch between wallets using /wallets

  • Open your dashboard and access everything related to Polyscout using /dashboard

Step 7: Adjust Notifications

Polyscout allows you to control exactly how and when you receive updates about your trading activity.

Use the /notifications command to manage your notification preferences. From there, you can enable or disable specific alerts based on what matters most to you.

Available notification options include:

  • Being notified when a buy order is placed

  • Being notified when a stop loss is triggered

  • Being notified when a bet is lost

  • Being notified when rewards are claimed

  • Being notified when a Polymarket dispute window opens, which temporarily prevents claiming winnings for a market

  • Being notified when an automated trade is skipped, including the reason it was not executed, such as an odds trigger not being reached

This lets you stay informed and ensures you always understand what the bot is doing on your behalf.
